The closing line of rotational molding mold is also called parting surface or parting line of mold, which is the interface between the mold and the flange. The selection of the closing line or parting surface plays an important role in the success of mold design and manufacturing. Therefore, the design of clamping line must pay attention to the following points:
(1) The position of the closing line should be conducive to production operations, such as opening and closing mold.
(2) The location of the closing line should consider the aesthetic needs of the product.
